An Evening of Ballet 2009
Ballet Frontier's An Evening of Ballet was performed on May 2nd at the W.E.Scott Theater in Fort Worth. The performance featured Straight to the Heart by Roy Tobias, Mahler, Symphony #4, Love Songs, Seasons & Variations on a Rococo Theme" by Chung-Lin Tseng. Ballet Frontier artists performed alongside professional guest artists from the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The Fort Worth Weekly reviewed the performance, calling Ms. Erin Witt's phrasing in a piece choreographed by Roy Tobias as "lyrical" and that Mr. Tseng's "musical sensitivity matched the mood and meter of the styles, offering a steady stream of fresh ideas that turned what could have been a Johnny-one-note evening into charming entertainment".
